As a lifelong Republican I find it necessary to defend my position to vote Barack in '08.  First, once you go Barack, you never go back!  Second, I have never been a fan of the half democrat-half republican take a position for political expediency type politician.  Third, I did not think McCain's attack on Donald Rumsfeld were justified or helpful to the War in Iraq.  Last but not least....I owe Barack for doing something no Republican has been able to do...defeat the Clintoons!

That's right, I owe him and so does America for the favor he's done for the American people by getting Hellary away from the White House.  Now think about this, if we don't help get him elected, not only will she be back in four years after four years of a McCain administration, we will not see another Republican administration in our lifetime, the next four years will be another Clintoon and maybe evern a two term one AGAIN!

Folks we can’t afford to see another Clintoon administration and that's why I'm going Barack!

Now I've got to say, I'm a BIG Palin fan, how can someone not like a pistol pack'n, hockey playing MOM?  She seems like a solid leader who tries to do her best to represent her constituency but this is not about the VP, it's about the RINO at the top of the ticket.

In your heart you know I'm right, come on folks, we've survived 4 years of Jimah Carter, and even 8 years of Bubba Clintoon, do you really think a Barack administration will bring us down?  I think not, after all with the go along, get along Republicans that we have in Congress the next four years will be a total disaster and who will get blamed?  That's right GW doesn’t everything get blamed on him?

I really am surprised by the gullibility of the American people to buy into the political elections and the theatrical performances of the conventions and the campaigns themselves. NOTHING IS REAL, it’s all contrived and staged. Take for example the woman who supported Hellary and now is supporting McCain in one of his political adds, do you really think she has a clue to why she’s supporting McCain? Other than she’s PO’d that Hellary didn’t get the democratic nomination, she has no clue to McCain’s positions or what his policies would do to the American people.

Energy, if John McCain had of voted with the Republicans in 2003, we would have been enjoying the benefit of ANWR today…thanks but no thanks Senator.

How about the Gang of Fourteen? How helpful was Senator McCain on this? What a fricken bozo and now the Republicans want to have him lead our party?

How about McCain’s involvement with Charles Keating, one of five senators that Keating used to contact to call in political favors? I think of all the issues about McCain this bothers me the most. I think it’s indicative of his career and life and demonstrates he can’t be trusted. His involvement with lobbyist and corruption is just too close for my taste. He seems to operate on a don’t do as I do, do as I say mentality. While he pushes for campaign reform he makes the loopholes to take advantage of.
